Flat Earth International Conference (Canada) 2018 – A Christian religious tent revival meeting

This flat Earth conference organized by FECORE is dominated by Christian biblical literalists. Flat Earth is a primary conduit vehicle for putting their faith in front of the public.

The Earth is a beautiful blue globe, rotating once every day on its axis, in orbit around the Sun. That has been proven over and over and over again for hundreds of years.

Aristotle claimed the world was a sphere sometime around 350BC. Plato agreed. So did Pythagoras, Archimedes and later, in 240BC, the astronomer Eratosthenes, who was among the first to estimate the Earth’s circumference. It was confirmed in the 1500s when a Spanish expedition led by Magellan circumnavigated the globe.

Human emotion and ego centered world-view preservation (i.e., decisions are emotional, not based on fact or rational thinking) are responsible for the current flat Earth conspiracy contagion.
