Westwood reaches for the sky with high-alt balloon release

Westwood Middle School lived up to its aeronautical mascot, the Rockets, Friday when students released a high altitude balloon that reached an anticipated altitude of 100,000 ft. On board were an array of sensors to capture atmospheric data, a GoPro and marshmallows that the students will observe as it enters the stratosphere.
