As a scientist with college degree in Astronomy, minor in Physics and Mathematics, I was appalled to find folks telling outright falsities and presenting bad science to bolster suspicion of our known accepted reality - that the Earth is a beautiful blue globe.

This blog clearly shows scientific proofs that debunk everything that flat Earth proponents claim.  Here we also expose the comments those YouTube video channels delete, because they don't want you to see them.

The Earth is not flat.  That claim is a conspiracy theory perpetrated by ignorant people who have ulterior personal motives and agendas.

The Earth is a beautiful blue spheroid globe spinning on an axis 23.5° once each day, and orbiting the Sun every 365.25 days.

Orphan Red claims this is how images from the Cassini spacecraft become NASA published pictures...

Orphan Red says...

"How it actually works is that the Cassini took data readings.  The Cassini took images of Saturn but then it transformed it into data that it then beamed through interplanetary space, and then through our atmosphere, through the Van Allen belts, through the plasma shield that NASA found around our planet several years back.  Through the atmosphere, through the dust into the NASA offices.  And then they took that information, and took some very skilled artists, and the artists used the information that was beamed back from Cassini to create these fantastic images of Saturn and its moons."

(Next Orphan Red confuses some quantum mechanical concepts and comes up with a wrong explanation...)

She says...

"If there’s no conscious observer observing the light that’s falling into the camera and then falling onto the sensor and camera, then the light won’t travel as photons, as particles.  The light will travel as waves that interfere with each other.  And so if you don’t have a conscious observer observing the light going into the camera then on your camera’s detector, you’ll get an interference pattern.  You’ll never get an image.  The camera out by Saturn trying to take a picture of the light bouncing off the rings of Saturn would not be able to form an image without a conscious observer there to collapse the photon probabilities, probability wave distribution of photons into particles that can then form an image on the sensors without a conscious observer you have no image, what you have are just interference patterns."  

(Wow.  What nonsense!  She has INCORRECTLY MIXED and TWISTED several quantum principles)

Orphan Red says...

“So here’s the problem.  In order for a camera to take a picture the light has to fall onto the sensors in such a way as to form an image.  And in order to do that, it has to be consciously observed.  … It has to be observed by a conscious being.  Do you see where the problems lay here?”

Fact check = YOU FAIL.  Quantum physics is what happens when nobody is looking.  If you look and interfere, the results can be different - so just leave it alone as it is.

Light behaves like a particle and also like a wave.  The quantum world is strange.  They are "shy" particles that don't want to be messed with.

Pass a few photons thru a single slit, and there is basically no pattern.

But pass billions and billions of photons thru a single slit, and then you get this probability distribution.

We can either do an "interference" experiment or we can do a "which slit" experiment, but not both on the same photon.

Why should observing a photon destroy the quantum interference effects?  A photon detector must interact with the photon, i.e. the photon must be able to make a physical change in the detector.  Detector therefore makes a physical change in the photon.  Observed photons act differently.

Quantum Basics:

The quantum world of Super Position:
A particle such as an electron, can have a quantum spin (angular momentum).  It can be either +1 or -1.
Example using a penny = a penny is either heads or tails.  But while it spins, is it a head or tail? 
It's not really one or the other.  It is a combination of both at the same time.

The quantum world of particle Entanglement
Two particles connected in a quantum way, that can be separated by distance if we want, but they retain their connection.
Example using TWO pennies = spin both pennies at different locations. 
Stop one penny.  If it is a head, stop the other penny and it will also be a head. 
Spin both pennies at different locations, Stop one penny.  If it is a tail, stop the other penny and it will also be a tail.
Both particles know and retain the information that they are entangled.

When the pair is formed, the particles "make an agreement" about how to act.

It’s important to point out that no POSITIVE PROOF has ever been presented as evidence that the Earth is flat. Only negative irrational and unscientific theories have been exhibited.

All attempts to prove the Earth is flat are based upon efforts to cast doubt on the validity of scientific data that clearly demonstrates that the Earth is a globe - rather than showing proof of flatness.

POSITIVE PROOF you need to provide for us:
A real photograph taken from an elevation of 500 miles or more above the surface of the Earth, that clearly shows the Earth is flat.
A real photograph taken of the flat Earth edge.

If no edge, then a real photograph of the infinite expanse.

If no infinite expanse, then a real photograph of the dome.

If no dome, then at least 1,000 photos of the 25,000 mile long impenetrable ice wall.

If no ice wall, then a real photograph of the lost civilizations that are there.

If no lost civilizations, then what is your next guess?
