As a scientist with college degree in Astronomy, minor in Physics and Mathematics, I was appalled to find folks telling outright falsities and presenting bad science to bolster suspicion of our known accepted reality - that the Earth is a beautiful blue globe.

This blog clearly shows scientific proofs that debunk everything that flat Earth proponents claim.  Here we also expose the comments those YouTube video channels delete, because they don't want you to see them.

The Earth is not flat.  That claim is a conspiracy theory perpetrated by ignorant people who have ulterior personal motives and agendas.

The Earth is a beautiful blue spheroid globe spinning on an axis 23.5° once each day, and orbiting the Sun every 365.25 days.

Dear James Mann,

It's unfortunate that your lack of science understanding and susceptibility to conspiracy theories has led you down this wrong path.  The Earth is a beautiful blue globe spinning on axis once per day, and in revolution around the Sun.

When you believe in a conspiracy theory because you want it to be true, that's when you get into trouble.  You are currently on the wrong side of history.

@Chris Berry - the 1931 National Geographic observations by CAPT. Albert Steven are correct and stand on their own. So why did Tyson say this? He was in the middle of making a point about how Baumgartner wasn't really that high, relative to the size of the globe. 

A point missed here is that it's very obvious that he's not saying the Earth is flat - heck, he's actually pointing at a globe and saying that's the shape of the Earth.

@James Mann - So is it worth $100 and two hours of your time to SEE FOR YOURSELF the reality of Earth curvature? Or will you skip the following invitation so that you can live the remainder of your life in blissful ignorance? I have done the following experiment several times: Go to Walmart and buy a drone with a camera. 

Go outside and watch the sun set from your location. A good unobstructed view of the horizon is preferable. After the sun sets for you, fly your drone to 500-feet. The sun will still be visible at that height. Watch the sun set from your drone camera.
Then fly your drone to 1,000-feet. The sun will still be visible at that height. Watch the sun set from your drone camera.
Then fly your drone to 1,500-feet. The sun will still be visible at that height. Watch the sun set from your drone camera.
Watching multiple sun sets for higher drone elevations prove conclusively that the Sun does actually set and go below the horizon. On a flat Earth the sun never sets – the perspective vanishing point always remains above the horizon.
So try this yourself, and let us know what you observed. OK?

Google search = "Flat Earth NOT - Verify Earth curvature from any location on the globe, as easy as 1 – 2 – 3" Do the experiment and show your results here. I went with the flow for 65 years and believed the globe model without question... until I started looking at Apollo II moon landing videos and photos. That's when my eyes started to be open and I started asking question which led me to flat earth.

I haven't been the best christian but never denied God just struggled a lot. So hearing about flat earth brought the bible back into my life... even though I had gone to bible college for 3 years. I never clued in and continued believing the globe lie without question.

Flat earth matches God's creation so I looked deeper and found I could test the shape of the earth with globe curvature calculators so I did and proved flat earth for myself... life changed... that was 2018 soon after my wife became a flat earther as well.

So my channel is now a flat earth proofs channel but it's not a debate channel... as there is no debate... so if you're here to debate go elsewhere lots of debate channels out there. God bless

I don't just believe Earth is a level plane I take the time to research and prove it can't be a globe 25000 miles around / 6,371 kilometers / 3958 mile radius.

In 2017 I looked at the 1969 moon landing for the first time. Things just didn't add up.

Multiple shadows yet one light source the sun! 1/6 gravity yet they dragged their feet The LEM was so pathetic I couldn't understand why they would even show it.

...

It was so bad I started asking questions. Lots of responses, none satisfied me until Eric Dubay who I had never heard of left a two word comment. "Flat Earth" and dropped a link to his 200 flat earth proofs video.

I read them instead of mocking and learned I could prove the shape for myself with over water observations...
My reality changed... and now I make my own video proofs debunk the heliocentric programming I got as a child.
