Balthazar Gerard - Flat Earth - 100% proof we do not live on a spinning ball
Dear Balthazar Gerard,
Fact check = You FAIL
At time mark 16:20 you state, "that is not possible on a globe. You cannot be in the northern most city and have the same length of day as the equator at the equinox. You can't. Look at this. Let's spin this around. On a ball, it's a shorter day up north." It's impossible. There is less surface area of a ball Earth when it rotates. It just has to be shorter.
Fact:
Your video conclusions are 100% wrong.
You are interpreting the 3D globe incorrectly.
The Sun traverses 15° of longitude every hour. It does not matter that 15° of longitude is a smaller mileage distance north/south of the equator, than on the equator itself. 15° is still 15° In those 15° zones, one hour passes the same for cities north or south of the equator.
Although the Earth spins at a steady and constant rate, because it's a globe the actual rotational speed on the surface varies depending upon latitude. See picture 1.
Going left or right from the center longitude line, the globe CURVES BACK 90°
So a projection of that curvature onto a 2D flat computer screen is not linear.
Instead, since the Earth curves back 90 degrees from the central longitude line to the visual round edge, each square inch of 2D flat computer screen occupies more and more miles, the further west/east we measure.
Look at the picture 2 below.
440-miles at the equator, projects smaller and smaller going left or right. But each longitude block is still 440-miles in length.
The number of miles per inch INCREASES, the further west/east on the 2D Earth project we go.
Here are the calculations of proof...
1) The Earth rotates 15° in longitude every hour (because 15° * 24-hours = 360°)
2) That means at different latitudes, the Earth spins at a different speed. See picture 1.
3) That also means that at different latitudes, that same 15° covers different miles.
At the Arctic Circle:
one degree of longitude at that latitude = 27.46 statute miles
At New York City:
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 52.35 statute miles
At the Tropic of Cancer:
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 63.33 statute miles
At the equator
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 69.06 statute miles
etc..
Here in greater detail are the calculations and 3D concepts that you need to learn:
The Earth rotates 15-degrees in longitude every hour. However, at...
Here is the correct formula you should be using to get proper degree/distances (LONGITUDE equivalent) on our globe Earth.
Formula for the calculation...
Tangent plane of a sphere calculation:

Arctic Circle...
At latitude 66.57° north of the Equator
Radius of sphere tangent = 1574 statute miles
Diameter of sphere tangent = 3128 statute miles
Circumference of sphere tangent at that latitude = 9,886 statute miles.
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 27.46 statute miles
New York City...
At latitude 40.71° north
Radius of sphere tangent = 3001 statute miles
Diameter of sphere tangent = 6002 statute miles
Circumference of sphere tangent at that latitude = 18,846 statute miles.
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 52.35 statute miles
Tropic of Cancer...
At latitude 23.5° north
Radius of sphere tangent = 3631 statute miles
Diameter of sphere tangent = 7261 statute miles
Circumference of sphere tangent at that latitude = 22,800 statute miles.
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 63.33 statute miles
Equator...

Diameter of sphere tangent = 7918 statute miles
Circumference of sphere tangent at that latitude = 24,863 statute miles.
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 69.06 statute miles
Tropic of Capricorn...
At latitude 23.5° south
Radius of sphere tangent = 3631 statute miles
Diameter of sphere tangent = 7261 statute miles
Circumference of sphere tangent at that latitude = 22,800 statute miles.
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 63.33 statute miles
Sidney Australia...
At latitude 33.87° south
Radius of sphere tangent = 3287 statute miles
Diameter of sphere tangent = 6574 statute miles
Circumference of sphere tangent at that latitude = 20,643 statute miles.
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 57.34 statute miles
Antarctic Circle...
At latitude 66.57° south of the Equator
Radius of sphere tangent = 1574 statute miles
Diameter of sphere tangent = 3128 statute miles
Circumference of sphere tangent at that latitude = 9,886 statute miles.
One degree of longitude at that latitude = 27.46 statute miles
Fact:
You verified that the Earth is indeed a round globe, by using http://timeanddate.com to show for the following cities, that day & night are the same on the equinox date.
Pontianak, Indonesia
Longyearbyen, Norway
Ushuaia, Argentina
Barrow, Alaska
Cape Town, South Africa
Sydney, Australia
Moscow, Russia
London, England
Beijing, China
Conclusion:
Your brain is messed up. Learn to think in 3D.
