In this episode flat earther Brandon Toy tries to 'channel' Brian Mullins but only succeeds in pulling off an epic fail. Does coriolis effect aircraft? Yes it does, however pilots rarely notice it as the effects are so small.
We discuss how aircraft fly a ground track rather than a straight line. By maintaining a flight path over the ground track, the aircraft assumes the rotational speed of any given point on that ground track, just as jumping up maintains the rotational speed of that spot on the earth.

Brandon Toy spectacularly misinterpreted Conspiracy Catz trying to point out that Brandon was not understanding basic maths, and hence didn't really have an argument, and nor could he explain his argument. Brandon took "you don't understand" as disrespect, rather than an honest assessment. This is common among Flerfs. They don't know enough to know that they don't know enough. But respect is earned, not given. 6 other creators help me explain to flerfs why they don't deserve respect. Flerfs can demonstrate intelligence by learning from what we have to say. But somehow, I doubt they'll do that...

The flat Earth loves to have very low to the water observations over relativly short distances and then go out and claim it doesn't show any curvature of the Earth. So I decided to introduce the white board and develop a technique to actually measure the refracted radius of the Earth from these very low observation points. Now I not only did this so I could better evaluate flat earth videos. I wanted some measureable evaluation of the refraction present...
...and that goemetric horizon (1.22 miles) says that if you are one foot off the ground, you horizon is 1.22 miles away. Now what the claim is is that if you are observing from one foot above the ground, your horizon can be no more than 1.22 miles away. THAT'S WRONG. That's a complete misunderstanding of what refraction does to your horizon, and what a geometric verses a refractive horizon is...
