FlatEarthSamurai - Flat Earth - Various Phases Of The Self-Luminous Moon Compilation - 07-29-2017
Dear Flat Earth Samurai,
Fact check = You FAIL
a) for not answering our simple question…
"If the Moon is self-luminous, why is its light spectrum signature the same as the Suns?"
and..
b) for deleting both of our comments
So it now seems that your claim that the Moon is “self-luminous” is nothing but your personal opinion. And frankly, the world does not care about you or what you think. You are just propagating fake news, bad science and deception, based on your personal emotions rather than on actual fact.
The world is as it is, not as you want it to be.
Rational folks look to nature's evidence for answers. Not old books or spiritual mythology.
Here is our explanation, backed up by real evidence, that the Moon is not self-luminous...
Take any beam of light, pass it thru a prism, and look at the rainbow colors. All those colors are part and parcel of the white light.
Look more closely at the prism light (called spectrum) and observe lines, which are missing frequencies of light due to chemical elements absorbing it. Each chemical element has its own unique specific absorptions at various light wavelengths. They are a signature indicating the presence of that element in the light source.
Spectral lines (unique signatures at specific wavelengths) indicate the presence of various chemical elements WITHIN the hot emitting source the light. Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Hydrogen, Sodium, and Oxygen 2...
So now here is the spectrum of the Sun and Moon. They are essentially the same - indicating that Moon light is the same as Sun light.

Moon sequence taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter shows crater shadow sequence produced by the Sun's light over several days on the Moon. Sorry guys, THERE IS NO SELF ILLUMINATION.
The spacecraft carries 92 kg of scientific payload composed of: Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera (LROC), two narrow-angle (1 m resolution) monochromatic cameras and one wide-angle (100 m resolution) color and UV camera to acquire images of small scale landing site hazards and document lighting conditions at the lunar poles…
