Brian Mullin - Balls Out Physics Episode 3.0: Centripetal Force, Gravity, and the Sun
Dear Brian Mullin,
Fact check..
The following video by George Hnatiuk clearly and accurately debunks the claims made by Brian Mullin in his video.

Fact check..
You mentioned wanting to see a modern re-test of the Cavendish experiment. Read the following...
Gravitational Torsion Balance

The Cavendish experiment has been duplicated hundreds of times by many different scientists the world over.
Cavendish shared his experimental data with everyone in the British Royal Society, to which he was a member.
It then took about 100 more years before his experiment became "established scientific fact."
Cavendish's original paper appeared in the Philosophical Transactions for 1798.
Shortly thereafter his experiment was repeated by these other members of the British Royal Society...
1798 5.45 1.3 % low H. Cavendish
1838 5.49 0.5 % low F. Reich
1842 5.67 2.7 % high F. Baily
1852 5.58 1.1 % high F. Reich
1883 5.56 0.8 % high A. Cornu and J. Baille
1895 5.53 0.2 % high C. V. Boys
While Cavendish may have been the one who did most of the work to derive the gravitational constant, he never actually found the value itself. It took 100 years and several other people to finally get what we now call G.
Since 1895 the experiment has been repeated hundreds of times, using better and more sensitive equipment.
Go this website and you can buy modern equipment to test out the Cavendish experiment yourself...

Fact check = Your math FAILS
Your logic is wrong.
By cancelling out "m" in both the gravitational and centripetal acceleration equation you have mathematical equivalent formulas that now HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH GRAVITY.
Your two resulting equations provide a relationship between VELOCITY and the RADIUS OF A CIRCULAR ORBIT - ONLY.
Gravity is out of the picture at this point.
In reality, the real world situation is much more comp[ex than what you have presented.
You need to integrate Kepler's 3rd law:
Gravity supplies the necessary centripetal force to hold a satellite in orbit about the earth. The circular orbit is a special case since orbits are generally ellipses, or hyperbolas in the case of objects which are merely deflected by the planet's gravity but not captured. Setting the gravity force from the universal law of gravity equal to the required centripetal force yields the description of the orbit.
The force of gravity in keeping an object in circular motion is an example of centripetal force. Since it acts always perpendicular to the motion, gravity does not do work on the orbiting object if it is in a circular orbit.
This leads to Kepler's 3rd law (the Law of Periods) which is useful for the analysis of the orbits of moons and binary stars.

Kepler's Laws:
The square of the period of any planet is proportional to the cube of the semimajor axis of its orbit.
Picture below shows the perfect fit of the planets to Keplers law...

Update March 2019:
Chris Hadfield 18-minute uncut video from the ISS talking to grade 10 class
Zero Gravity on the ISS (International Space Station) proven once again.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUIa685ETgo
"Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 35 Commander Chris Hadfield of the Canadian Space Agency fielded questions about life and research on the orbital laboratory during an in-flight educational event April 16 2013, with students gathered at Lockview High School in Fall River, Nova Scotia. Hadfield, who is the first Canadian to command the station, is scheduled to return to Earth in mid-May after a five-month mission."

On a zero gravity plane flight, a single dive lasts only for about 30-seconds. So that video above is a genuine ISS demonstration.
The following is one company that will give you a zero gravity experience (we have no affiliation with them).
HOW LONG DOES THE FLIGHT LAST? HOW LONG WILL I FEEL WEIGHTLESS?
The flight portion of a ZERO-G Experience® lasts approximately 90 to 100 minutes. During the flight 15 parabolas are performed each providing about 30 seconds of reduced gravity or weightlessness. By the end of the flight you will log about 6-7 minutes of reduced gravity - that's about as much zero-gravity time as Alan Shepard experienced on America's first human spaceflight.

Brian Mullin Flat Earth Engineer Part 5, by Bob the Science Guy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-FVYtuoSXc
Brian Mullins discusses mass and weight in preparation for the episode on the Gravitational Constant and how it was determined.
Because as the earth spins centrifugal force (opposite direction of gravity so makes items a bit lighter) is different by latitude.
