Flat Earth Clues (Mark Sargent) - false flat Earth claims made by Mark Sargent about the June 28, 2015 Falcon launch failure
Update - February 7, 2018
Notice to readers,
Yesterday’s launch of the SpaceX Falcon Heavy was a SUCEESS. It did not crash. The payload has passed Earth low orbit.
This particular article was written back in June 2017 to address and dispute the false fantasy flat Earth conspiracy claim made by Mark Sargent, that the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch of June 2015 that did end in an explosion, happened because that rocket hit the flat Earth Biblical firmament dome and was not permitted to enter space.
There was a failure of the Falcon 9, but it had nothing to do with hitting a fictitious dome over the Earth.

Here is our original article as published on May 20, 2017 (about the June 28, 2015 Falcon inflight failure that Mark Sargent posted) ...
Dear Flat Earth Clues,
Fact check = You FAIL
Yours is just another bogus and purposely misleading video, from a Christian fundamentalist...
In your video the SpaceX Falcon 9 blows up two minutes and 14 seconds into the flight.
This is the launch Mark Sargent is referring to and to which this article addresses:

How come the following SpaceX rocket (launched after the one you show in this video) did not blow up and actually reached Earth orbit?
Video shows the 2nd stage ignition at 30 minutes into the flight and the rocket still continues to fly...
SpaceX Launches DSCOVR Into Orbit

The first stage shut down its nine Merlin 1D engines about 164 seconds after liftoff and the second stage Merlin Vacuum engine began a 5 minute 44 second burn to boost the vehicle into a parking orbit. After coasting across the Atlantic Ocean, the second stage reignited at the 30 minute 9 second mark to begin a 58 second burn aimed to boost DSCOVR into a highly elliptical earth orbit.
