As a scientist with college degree in Astronomy, minor in Physics and Mathematics, I was appalled to find folks telling outright falsities and presenting bad science to bolster suspicion of our known accepted reality - that the Earth is a beautiful blue globe.

This blog clearly shows scientific proofs that debunk everything that flat Earth proponents claim.  Here we also expose the comments those YouTube video channels delete, because they don't want you to see them.

The Earth is not flat.  That claim is a conspiracy theory perpetrated by ignorant people who have ulterior personal motives and agendas.

The Earth is a beautiful blue spheroid globe spinning on an axis 23.5° once each day, and orbiting the Sun every 365.25 days.

Your mathematics vector analysis and conclusion are flawed - WRONG.
No Vc component is needed.

Since at all points of the airplane flight the earth's atmosphere also moves according to the rate of rotation along with the spherical earth's surface (there is no "relative" motion with respect to the earth's spin), none of that needs to be taken into account for correct math.

When pilots fly they constantly make corrections in altitude and direction, to line up and land on any runway - whether east to west OR north to south, does not matter.

Fact:
All airplane pilots learn about the curvature of the Earth and how to fly according to it...

If the Earth did not rotate, there would be no Coriolis Effect.

For most navigational purposes, the earth is assumed to be a perfect sphere, although in reality it is not.

Inspection of the earth's crust reveals there is a height variation of approximately 12 miles from the top of the tallest mountain to the bottom of the deepest point in the ocean. A more significant deviation from round is caused by a combination of the earth's rotation and its structural flexibility.

When taking the ellipsoidal shape of the planet into account, mountains seem rather insignificant. The peaks of the Andes are much farther from the center of the earth than Mount Everest. Measured at the equator, the earth is approximately 6,378,137 meters in diameter, while the polar diameter is approximately 6,356,752.3142 meters.

The difference in these diameters is 21,384.6858 meters, and this difference may be used to express the ellipticity of the earth. The ratio between this difference and the equatorial diameter is:

Ellipticity = 21,384.6858 = 1
6 378,137 298.257223

Since the equatorial diameter exceeds the polar diameter by only 1 part in 298, the earth is nearly spherical. A symmetrical body having the same dimensions as the earth, but with a smooth surface, is called an ellipsoid.

The ellipsoid is sometimes described as a spheroid, or an oblate spheroid.

Any free-moving body traveling at a constant speed above the earth is subject to an apparent force that deflects its path to the right in the Northern Hemisphere and to the left in the Southern Hemisphere. This apparent force, and the resulting acceleration, were first discovered shortly before the middle of the 19th century by Gaspard Gustave de Coriolis (1792ñ1843) and given quantitative formulation by William Ferrel (1817- 1891).

The acceleration is known as Coriolis acceleration, or force, or simply, Coriolis, and is expressed in Ferrelís law.
You must realize that the bubble sextant indicates the true vertical only when the instrument is at rest or moving at a constant speed in a straight line as perceived in space.

If the earth were motionless, this straight path in space would also be a straight path over the surface of the earth; conversely, a straight path over the motionless earth would also be a straight path in space.

When the aircraft is flying a path curved in space to the left, the fluid in the bubble chamber is deflected to the right, and the bubble is deflected to the left of the aircraft's path over the earth. When the aircraft is flying a curved path in space to the right, the reverse is true...

Structural engineers who design long suspension bridges take into account the curvature of the Earth. Why don't you know this?

The top of the Golden Gate Bridge is almost two inches wider at the top than the base because of the curvature of the Earth!

In the first of our series of reviews of the videos of Engineer Brian Mullin, we examine his claim that the rotation of the earth would make it impossible for an aircraft to land on a N/S runway as the earth rotated under it.

Mr. Mullin released these videos a number of years ago, but has not retracted them and they are regularity used by the science denying community to disseminate false information, therefore they have to be addressed.
