Mike Helmick - taking apples for oranges leads to wrong conclusions
Dear Mike Helmick,
It's unfortunate that you made so many science errors in your video. If you are going to talk science, I encourage you to take a physics and optics 101 class.
Concerning your video...

Let's review Three of your MAJOR errors...
1. Attempt by flat Earth channel Dr Zack to debunk the work of Soundly - FAILS.
Dr Zack identified the wrong power line on Google Earth for his video - so Soundly’s video still holds true

2. Here are TWO visually different ways of looking for Earth Curvature.
a) Looking for a "curved horizon" from some elevation above the Earth's surface.
Yes, from a mountain top of even 22,000 feet, the visible horizon curvature of 2.6 degrees is not discernible to the naked eye.
So the below article is correct, in as much as there is only 3.3 degrees curvature visible at a height of 35,000 feet.
"How high do you have to go to see the curvature of the Earth?"
https://www.howitworksdaily.com/how-high-do-you-have-to-go-to-see-the-curvature-of-the-earth/
But,
At a height of 100,000 feet above the Earth's surface you can see a curvature of 5.6 degrees
At a height of 200,000 feet above the Earth's surface you can see a curvature of 7.9 degrees
At a height of 300,000 feet above the Earth's surface you can see a curvature of 9.7 degrees
... so once you get above 300,000 feet horizon curvature becomes much more visible to the naked eye.

b) Looking for the curvature at eye level that drops away behind the observable horizon. The horizon is straight in this case.
It's an example of seeing farther from standing higher, which is only valid on a curved Earth...
Seeing only the tops sails of a ship as it approaches from a distance. The bottom of the ship is hidden beneath the water curvature.
From the Soundly video, there are 22 of these block houses attached to I10 - going north from Metairie to Manderville.
In the photo below only about 7-8 are visible, as the others are below the observable horizon.
This clearly proves over-the-horizon curvature...

With regard to the power lines, this picture below from the video by Sly Sparkane shows that there are multiple power line strings across the Lake, and Dr. Zach choose the wrong one in his video...

So this is over the horizon curvature. In your video you mentioned no curvature of the horizon, which is correct.
BUT you entirely MISSED the over the horizon evidence on display here...

Fact check = You FAIL
While discussing the characteristics of the camera lens used by Soundly, you mentioned that distortion was 73 percent. THAT IS WRONG.
The lens distortion is zero point .73%
That is much less than 1 percent.

So your explanation that this is all due to lens distortion is wrong.

Conclusion: If you are going to talk science, at least be correct in what you say. Unfortunately, your entire video is full of scientific fumbles and distortion.
Get a life and take some real science classes at your local university.
