Immortalsouls - Flat Earth - Transparency
Dear Immortalsouls,
All you do is use discrediting tactics and false pretenses to bring questions and suspicion to established scientific fact.
All of your discrediting arguments are just exercises of illogical thinking, lack of understanding how the laws of the universe really function, astronomy, and just downright ignorance.
Definition of discredit:
To cause to be doubted or distrusted
To refuse to believe
Lack or loss of trust or belief; doubt
To reject as untrue or of questionable accuracy
Lack of belief or confidence
Your "couple key examples" only proves that you don't (or want to) understand physics and mathematics, and that you are ignorant of how the laws of OUR universe function.
Your statement: "spinning faster than the speed of a bullet"
My answer: We only see movement that is relative to our movement.
The same way that a passenger in your moving car remains seated next to you and does not hopelessly bounce around the interior. As long as everything is moving in the same direction at the same speed, from one observer to the next, it appears that nothing is moving.
Suppose two cars are moving down the highway in the same direction. One is traveling at 60 mph and the other is traveling at 50 mph. Observers in the slower car see the faster car passing at 10 mph. Observers in the faster car pass the slower car at a speed of 10 mph.
So again, we only observe motion relative to us.
Do you finally get it?
As long as all of us, the ground, trees, water, air, mountains, everything is moving in the same direction at constant speed, we will not experience any motion.
Your statement: "Secondly, how can cities & people stand upside down in relation to each other?"
They don't at all. Since gravity pulls everyone toward the center of the Earth, people in the southern hemisphere are not upside down. Up for everyone is the sky and down for everyone is the surface of the earth.
Conclusion: Stop propagating your illogical nonsense. Take a science 101 class.
Wake up and live in 2015!
