[Dopefish] Dopefish Watches 25 Proofs for a Flat Earth! (Part 1/3)
Dear Dopelives,
Fact check = You FAIL
Gravity is a real force of nature.
Question: How should Gravity behave on a flat Earth?
My answer: Not the way that it now does for all of us here on the Earth.
If the Earth were flat, than Sir Isaac Newton's apple would have fallen straight down to the ground only if he were AT THE CENTER of a flat Earth.
If Isaac Newton dropped his apple NOT AT THE CENTER, then as it fell down to the ground it would also curve to the right, or left, or forward, or backward - depending upon where on the flat Earth he was.
It's simple physics (center of mass) and the Law of Gravity:
Consider a flat plane. The center of mass of a flat plane is at its very center.
On a flat Earth the force of gravity will pull a person toward the middle of the flat plane. That means that if you stand on the edge of the plane, gravity will be pulling you toward the middle, not straight down like you usually experience.
View the gif at the bottom of this post carefully. It accurately depicts how gravity would behave on a flat Earth.
Only objects at the center would fall straight down. The more toward the edge you are, the more sideways an object will move while falling down.
So, PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME and your readers why an apple always falls straight down, no matter where the experiment is tried on our Earth

This is how gravity behaves on a flat Earth. You would need to walk sideways.
