Since the images recorded by Taboo Conspiracy are elongated (up & down) in shape, those images ARE NOT the actual lights on the opposite shore. Instead, they are the reflected images of those lights on the water/ice and they reside anywhere within the 5.58-mile section past the camera's horizon range, depending upon the extent of atmospheric distortion, refraction and temperature inversion.
Taboo Conspiracy is really showing us reflected water/ice images (from the yellow area), not the round actual flashlight beam itself (at point H).

We offered GM Skywatcher a valid suggestion on how to measure the chemical constituency of jet plane sky trails in real time (see below), but he deleted our entire conversation post.
That leads us to conclude that GM Skywatcher is not interested in personal experimentation to find out what is really in those sky trails. He is just happy being angry and blaming everyone else for pollution.
Our suggestion to him:
+GM Skywatcher, so instead you should do the experiment that I suggested before, to gather evidence as to what is really happening in the sky.
Every community has an amateur astronomy club. Find one near you and make friends with someone who has a medium size telescope (8-inches). Ask them to help participate in your experiment. You buy a hand held spectrograph/spectrometer (about $100) and couple it to their telescope. Take spectrograph pictures of the Moon when those jet planes are flying in front of it. Do it for the planes that you think are seeding the sky purposely.
It's well known what the spectra of the Moon looks like, as well as aircraft chemical emissions. These spectra/telescope images will show what chemicals are in the air at that moment, as emitted by the jet plane. That is concrete evidence. If toxic chemical is being sprayed or emitted by the planes you will pick them up.
Do this instead of spending your time complaining about who is doing what to the atmosphere.

How does the Flat Earth model account for the lunar month (new Moon to new Moon) on December 18, 2017, being the longest of this century? Is there some slip up in their Moon's circular path 3,000 miles above?
Truth be told, it doesn't. The FE model does not even address this reality.
It's really because the New Moon is at orbital apogee.

Flat Earth community falls in love with the Nikon P900 - but its optics are no substitute for a real telescope
It's APERTURE (lens) size that determines the quality and resolution of pictures, NOT zoom or magnification capability.
Ignorance about basic optics leads people to think that the P900 could be a substitute for telescopes. NO WAY.
Resolution is best at lower power...

The middle pictures are from a telescope that cost the same as a Nikon P900. Notice how much better the resolution detail of Jupiter is.
Inside the P900 camera:
Lens - Zoom-Nikkor ED VR; 16 elements in 12 groups including a super extra-low dispersion (ED) glass element
Focal Length (35mm equivalent): 24 - 2,000mm
Focal Length (actual): 4.3 - 357mm
Zoom Ratio: 83.00x
83 power is just an advertizers numbers game. With an actual zoom range of (4.3 - 357mm), the real apparent magnification is 56 power.
With respect to celestial object resolution, the P900 cannot resolve objects more than 2.11 arc-seconds apart.
By comparison, the Meade LX70 6-inch reflector telescope priced at $479.95, can resolve objects to 0.77 arc-seconds apart.
A larger aperture means that more light can be collected, so that fainter objects now become visible.
The human eye can detect stars down to magnitude 6.
Magnitude is a logarithmic scale, so a 7-magnitude star is 2.5 times fainter that a 6-magnitude star.
A 6-inch reflector telescope at 120x can detect stars down to magnitude 13.8
A 8-inch reflector telescope at 120x can detect stars down to magnitude 14.3
A 60-inch reflector telescope at 120x can detect stars down to magnitude 15.8
That is why larger and larger telescopes are always being built.
Taking a long exposure photograph (from seconds to hours) greatly increases any instruments ability to record fainter objects.
The P900 Digital sensor:
The Image Sensor size of p900 = (6.2mm x 4.6mm) = 28.52 sq mm Diagonal = 7.72 mm
Image sensor size of any full frame camera (35 mm) = 36mm x 24 mm = 864 sq mm . Diagonal = 43.232 mm
Ratio of Diagonals = 43.232 mm / 7.72 mm = 5.6. This is called crop factor. this is the pseudo zoom we get because of using a small sensor as compared to 35mm format.
The P900 has a 1/2.3" digital sensor.
The iPhone 6S has a 1/3” digital sensor, which is LARGER than the P900’s.
A larger sensor will either have larger pixels, or more pixels. Larger pixels mean a greater capacity to store charge (all else being equal) and more light being captured per pixel hence less light in the shadows, hence greater dynamic range. More pixels mean the similar noise per pixel but more pixels to average over to reduce shadow noise, and hence increase dynamic range.

The P900 camera "aperture stop" is hexagonal in shape. Combine that with a deliberately out-of-focus star image and you get that monstrosity. Passing that off as reality is predetermined fraud...

Misunderstand of photographic diffractions rings and the Airy disk is another popular deception perpetrated by the flat Earth community, as demonstrated below.
What you are seeing is a light diffraction pattern caused by the camera optics itself.
ROTR wants you to believe this is what the planet Venus really looks like. Please tell him you don't buy into his fraud.

The size of the Airy disks in an image depends upon the iris/aperture dimensions of the camera. It’s strictly a light diffraction pattern.
The shocking thing few camera-buyers realize is that these fuzzy blobs are often larger than the individual pixels in a digital camera sensor.
Instead of a sharp pinpoint, light is actually focused into a fuzzy bulls-eye pattern. Its bright center is named the Airy disk, after the British scientist who first described it.

Recipe for creating a flat Earth conspiracy advocate
Ingredients:
25% normal people (they never took a science class) and 75% Christian Evangelicals*
Instructions:
1. Sift the incoming contents of people and admit only those who are currently skeptical -
A person who questions the validity or authenticity of something purporting to be factual.
A person who maintains a doubting attitude.
A person more likely to put in the appropriate research before believing what they are told.
2. Sift the remaining people and admit only those who watch YouTube videos as their source of knowledge.
Research Flat Earth means, do not go to school and take any physics, astronomy, math or real chemistry classes. All of that is forbidden.
Only watch YouTube videos created by other flat Earth conspiracy theorists.
Watch enough videos until you are convinced that the delusions of fact that they present, are accepted by you as truth.
3. Reaffirm that before entering this recipe you already believed in conspiracy theories.
Juicy ones such as 911 was an inside job, NASA never landed men on the Moon, Sandy Hook was staged, Chemtrails are real - those are all qualifiers. Confess that you currently believe that mass deception is taking place and that you are being lied to. You took the red Matrix pill to open your eyes. Congratulations, you may now proceed to the next step!
4. Flat Earth gives adherents a sense of purpose and value.
Say NO to the Heliocentric model, because I am not an accident, living on a tiny insignificant round rotating spec of rock, orbiting an average Yellow G2 spectral category Sun, just one of billions and billions in the universe. If the Earth and Sun disappeared tomorrow it would not even be noticed.
Say YES to the Geocentric model where the Earth is flat, because I am special and the creator made the Universe just for me.
Congratulations. You are now an official flat head.

This all started around the year 1610 when Galileo used his telescope to observe the moons of Jupiter. The four moons revolving around Jupiter clearly displayed that the Earth was not the center of the universe. He begged the Clergy to look thru the telescope and see for themselves, but they refused. He was later forced to recant his statements upon threat of death.
Then around 1838 in England, Samuel Rowbotham conducted the famous Bedford Canal level experiment, where he claimed the Earth was flat.
After Rowbotham’s death Lady Elizabeth Blount established The Universal Zetetic Society also in England. Every meeting was started with Bible scripture readings followed by prayer.
Later in the middle of the 20th century Samuel Shenton created the International Flat Earth Society.
When NASA came out with space pictures of Earth in the 1960’s, he claimed that they were all fake.
Various flat Earth societies exist today.
The advent of YouTube, Facebook, and the other social networks available today has suddenly pushed flat Earth into the spotlight. The latest growth spurt started in 2015.
This year 2017 saw the first International Flat Earth conference in the USA. England is planning a conference for 2018.
So now there is real money making opportunity in it.
The financial sponsor of the Flat Earth International Conference 2017 was Ralph Joseph Riehl, the CEO of Metatron Inc.
He approached Patricia Steers and Mark Sargent a few years ago looking for a new business plan; how to monetize and make money on YouTube channels. He claims to be a flat earth agnostic, so he does not support or deny a flat Earth.
He made a lot of money creating mobile apps for Eckert Tolle and others.

Flat Earther's often claim that a rainbow is evidence that a dome / firmament surrounds us.
But how do they explain the presence of a DOUBLE RAINBOW? And what about that second rainbow where the colors are in REVERSE order?
In the picture below the left anchor of the brighter rainbow is very close. It seems to be IN FRONT OF A NEARBY HILL.
A fog machine and high intensity light in your living room will create a rainbow. So then under this condition, does that rainbow prove (reflect off of) the firmament?

Here is how to measure the angle for yourself...
The rainbows we see in the sky are actually full circles, but we can only see a portion of them. You can measure the angular radius of a rainbow. When you see a rainbow in the sky, go outside and pin an index card onto a tree, making sure the pin is large enough to project from the tree. Turn the card so that its top edge points to the top of the rainbow. Notice the shadow of the pin. Draw a straight line that runs through the top of the card and touches the bottom of the pin’s shadow. Measure the angle created with your drawn line and the line of the top of the card. The angle should be 42 degrees. This is the angular distance of the rainbow to the anti-solar point, or the point exactly opposite the sun. During times when the sun happens to be more than 42 degrees above the horizon, you will not see a rainbow. However, if you stand on a hill, you may be able to see more of the circle. At times, airplane passengers can observe a full circle.

Only support those people that you know personally.
The small accounts asking for $1,000 - $3,000 for billboards mostly (but not all) came thru and delivered.
The people asking for lots of money, like for trips to Antarctica or a flat Earth edge expedition, got nothing.
People who established accounts for others, such as "Fly Eddie Bravo to the Stratosphere" by Pablo Rimondi, are frauds. Eddie Bravo does not know Pablo Rimondi, nor has Pablo ever got in touch with Eddie.

Are clouds ever BEHIND the Sun and Moon as flat Earth advocates claim? Assuredly never

Cumulus clouds are puffy clouds that sometimes look like pieces of floating cotton. The base of each cloud is often flat and may be only 1000 meters (3300 feet) above the ground. The top of the cloud has rounded towers.
Cumulonimbus clouds are thunderstorm clouds that form if cumulus congestus clouds continue to grow vertically. Their dark bases may be no more than 300 m (1000 ft.) above the Earth's surface. Their tops may extend upward to over 12,000 m (39,000 ft.).
Cirrus Clouds: thin and wispy. The most common form of high-level clouds is thin and often wispy cirrus clouds. Typically found at heights greater than 20,000 feet (6,000 meters), cirrus clouds are composed of ice crystals that originate from the freezing of super cooled water droplets.

Comedy of errors and confusion lead to no useful results
Here is an onsite report of what happened at the Victoria Canal…

I was the globe-head there. In the video at Globebusters, Jeran shows an illustration with four panels. That may have been the plan, but in the field there were three: one right in front of the laser (which I think is useless), one 1.5 miles down-range with a 6-inch hole 17 feet above the water-line, and one 3 miles down-range, with height-lines drawn on it (I assume; couldn't see it).
By the time I arrived the sun had set and the panel in front of the laser was up. Enrique got a volunteer, Steven, and they left to set up the down-range panels. I stayed at the laser location, as did Jeran and Daniel the camera-man. (Apologies if I have names wrong or misspelled.)
The laser with beam-expander, and the telescope mount that carried it, did not work. Jeran first adjusted the beam-expander with the beam hitting the ground. When Enrique got the 1.5-mile panel up, Jeran aimed the beam using a remote for the telescope mount. Aiming was touchy: it would fail to move, then move way to much. When he got it aimed, Enrique reported by phone that the beam lit the entire panel. To further adjust the beam-expander, Jeran had to hand-manipulate it, throwing off the aim.
Jeran switched to the back-up plan. At the 1.5-mile panel, Steven held a reasonably powerful flashlight. At the 3-mile distance, Enrique held a monster flashlight. Jeran had a long-zoom camera, 17 feet above water, pointed down-range toward Steven and Enrique. The three set up a conference call, and with Jeran directing repeated the following procedure about ten times:
Steven shined his light toward the camera, through the hole in the 1.5 mile panel 17 feet above the waterline. Enrique held his light at 17 feet above water, which was about waist-high for him, and walked to his left so that its light would go around the middle panel. Jeran and I could see both lights in the camera's flip-out viewfinder. As well as Jeran could focus, the lights were sizable balls not dots, and they appeared to be at about the same height. Enrique, at 3 miles, would walk back to his right until his light was occluded by the 1.5-mile panel, centered as well as Jeran could estimate. Then Steven would turn off his light and remove it from the hole. The test was then whether we could see, in the viewfinder, Enrique's light through the hole in 1.5 mile panel, which would support a flat earth. If not, could we see it if he held it over his head, well over 17 feet above waterline, which would support a round earth.
In about 10 tries, with the light held waist-high at 17 feet above water we never clearly saw it through the center panel hole. On one of the attempts, maybe the fourth of ten, we clearly saw it when Enrique lifted it over his head. On that one, Jeran asked him to raise it and lower it a few times, and it would appear when Enrique raised it and vanish when he lowered it. That was the "gasp" moment. Jeran said, "that's interesting." I noted it was the prediction for a round earth. When they repeated the whole procedure, it did not happen again. I suggested having Enrique move from side-to-side a bit when occluded by the panel, in case it was lateral alignment that was off. Jeran accepted the suggestion, but it made no observable difference light.
By not taking into account that lunar tides also occur in the Victoria Canal, the experiment was doomed even further.

On a flat earth, where the sun supposedly sets due to perspective, as the sun’s angle of elevation decreases, concurrent distance increases exponentially.
To see the sun 10o above the horizon, and observer would have to be 17,000 miles away.
To see it 5o above the horizon he would have to be over 34,000 miles away.
To see the sun 1o above the horizon, he would be 172,000 miles away.
This is why the sun would never appear to set on a flat earth.

Setting himself up for another failure, after saying goodbye to his friends and family expecting to be taken up to heaven during the August 21st 2017 end-of-times Christian rapture event.
Jason Bio:
Carpenter by trade, and very proud of the fact that he never went to college (was not indoctrinated so he says). Yet because of never being exposed to physics and astronomy, has no basic understand of how the universe really functions. The result is that fictitious ideas are self-generated and taken as truth, but when compared to reality they are not.
Being a Truther is one thing, but throwing out only specific subsets of science simply because it conflicts with your personal philosophy, offers a disservice to yourself and all those that you come in contact with.
Jason proposes (has not yet done it) going to a local beach and planting 5-foot posts into the sand every mile, and then checking for curvature. He said, "we will start with 3-miles. Once people see that 3-miles is perfectly flat, if they want to check 10-miles, or 100-miles, we can do that next."
But after that statement we pointed out that he has set himself up for failure, by ONLY commiting to do 3-miles. No curvature will be seen at 3-miles.
We gave him the following good testing advice:
5.6 miles is the correct distance.
You are kidding yourself at 3-miles and need to do some calculations before you start.
Paint the top few feet of each post a different color.
Criteria - the very top of every post should be exactly 5-feet above the sand.
Criteria - the observational instrument at the starting line should be exactly 5-feet above the sand Criteria - how are going to measure line-of-sight distance from the starting line to the next observed post?
A wooden post at 5.6 miles away from the starting point will be completely hidden by the earth's curvature. Any measurement shorter than that will be hard to accurately make, and will be inconclusive. Do 5.6 miles!
- If your eye is 5 feet above the sand, an object at distance 3-miles will only drop 0.55-inches due to curvature. You will never notice that.
- If your eye is 5 feet above the sand, an object at distance 4-miles will only drop 1.06 feet due to curvature. How do you plan to see or confirm the 1.06 feet drop? A lot less than the post height. That is a downward change of 0.018 degrees from a straight horizontal. You will not notice that.
- If your eye is 5 feet above the sand, an object at distance 5-miles will only drop 3.41 feet due to curvature. Still not far enough away from the starting line to lose sight of the wooden post.
* Here is the distance that you need to check to verify curvature.
Anything less that 5.6 miles is a failure
If your eye is 5 feet above the sand, an object at distance 5.5-miles will only drop 5.06 feet due to curvature
That is enough to completely hide the 5-foot post, if it was set properly.
Document your measurements well and present to us when finished.
He then deleting our comment so that none of his subscribers would see them.

Crepuscular rays, more commonly known as sunbeams in atmospheric optics, are rays of sunlight that appear to radiate from the point in the sky where the sun is located.
These rays, which stream through gaps in clouds (particularly stratocumulus) or between other objects, are columns of sunlit air separated by darker cloud-shadowed regions.
Despite seeming to converge at a point, the rays are in fact near-parallel shafts of sunlight.

I receive notifications from the NASA SpotTheStation website when the ISS will be passing overhead. Tonight was a very high pass at 78 degrees’ maximum height from west-northwest to east-southeast. Being that high meant it would be about the best photographic opportunity I was likely to get
We had a beautiful clear night. Ideal conditions.
The ISS moves at 7.7 km/sec. It’s relatively easy to manually track but focusing can be tricky. On this night, it was the brightest object in the sky by far … for the three minutes that it was visible.

The following Flat Earth advocates ALL posted videos claiming that the Moon never showed up for the August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse.
They offered all sorts of incorrect and delusional explanations for the happening, such as ... Rahu the black Sun did it, a UFO moved in front of the Sun at the right time, it was all an illusion put on by NASA, local geological gravitational fluctuations caused it, the Sun did that on its own, the planet Nibiru is here and caused the eclipse to occur, eclipses are just not possible on a globe Earth, the Moon's shadow across the Earth should have gone the other way - from East to West, the Moon's umbra and penumbra are not really large enough to cause a complete eclipse, etc. etc. etc.
But it is well known and displayed by real evidence that the Moon's passing in front of the Sun, is the real cause for total solar eclipses.
The human race has known that for hundreds of years.
These flat Earth advocates are grasping at straws, coming up with any concocted explanation, to try keeping their false assertions alive.
But we all know better than them.
So now this brings up the following question:
Since those flat Earth advocates missed the mark with their mistaken interpretations of reality, and they are all obviously wrong, WHY TRUST ANY OF THEIR EXPANATIONS, VIDEOS & CONSPIRACY SUGGESTIONS THAT EARTH IS FLAT?

Many flat Earth advocates are just Christian fundamentalists who feel they must attack and debase science, in order to preserve their egoic view of God - e.g., "my God is the only One and true God. All other Gods and religions are false."
Accordingly, since the Bible has verses that intimate that the Earth is flat and a dome (firmament) exists, then since the Bible is the word of God, it has to be true. Science is therefore, according to them, an abomination to God and is the work of Satan.
Other personal agendas such as distrust of government, NASA and public institutions, are prevalent.
Some just believe that the Illuminati (which does not really exist), Free Masons or Jesuits are in control of the world.
Some claim to be a Truther, a movement of people who do not accept establishment information.
Some of the FE videos may differ in their statements but one thing they all have in common: NASA is the enemy. All images from space must be faked because if even one of the pictures of the round Earth were proven real, then it's all over for them.
According to the Pew Research Center, flat Earth is the best tool for evangelism in the last 500 years.
Biblical flat earther's and anti-science (scientism/deception) advocates create videos allegedly showing "proofs" that the tenants and discovered laws of science are wrong. But none of their work is true. They are not scientifically (physics/astronomy/math/geology/meteorology etc.) literate, trained people who objectively look at a subject and find errors.
No. Notice that they ONLY PICK on a very small select area of science - those topics that they believe negate or intimidate their personal religious ideals...
They don't pick on anatomy, botany, cell biology, forestry, genetics, immunology, metabolism neuroscience, analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, molecular physics, photochemistry, solid state chemistry, oceanography, soil science, thermodynamics, seismology, communication, sociology, computer science, sports science, dentistry, nursing, social work, veterinary medicine, etc.
This shows that they are disingenuous and express nonsense and lies for the sole purpose of promoting their anti-science egocentric agendas.
The flat Earth theory is not a theory from the standpoint of a scientific system. But rather it is a belief system based on emotion, not reason. There are no working flat Earth models that accurately account for all observable phenomena.
Even if you proved that the Earth was not a globe (which no one in this current age of science has done) that in no way presupposes that the Earth is flat.
Nature allows for infinite variety, and therefore there are not just TWO CHOICES (flat or globe) that the Earth can be.
The shape of the Earth could be concave, convex, look like a parabola, rectangular, look like a cylinder, an ice cream cone, etc.
Since there aren't just 2 choices for the shape of the Earth, to prove it's flat you need to provide evidence that shows a flat Earth.
Several fallacies guide and motivate flat Earth proponents:
Common sense - "Seeing is believing." The claim that human senses are infallible.
Personal incredulity - if someone finds a topic or issue difficult to understand, they therefore claim it cannot be true.
No supporter has ever presented POSITIVE PROOF that the Earth is really flat. For example, a picture of the flat Earth edge, or a picture of the Earth from 250 miles up that clearly shows that the Earth is flat.No, instead what they call evidence is their bumbling attempt to prove some established science fact as wrong...
...my senses do not tell me that I'm spinning on a ball
...at 35,000 feet up in an airplane I still don't see any curvature
...there is no such thing as gravity
...all NASA photographs are CGI
...see what a star really looks like, through my Coolpix P900 camera
...the planet Nibiru was seen in the Australian sky last night
...etc.

Each case can be disproved by rational thought, knowledge of (physics/math/astronomy/history), and objective verification...
1. Horizon always rises to eye level
2. Water always finds its level
3. Gyroscope’s always remain level throughout worldwide airplane flight travel
4. Polaris never moves from its position despite earths travel through space
5. No measurable curvature
6. Terminator line on the moon during daytime often does not coincide with suns directional light
7. Gravity is density
8. No photographic evidence of satellites
9 . Questionable flight paths in southern hemisphere
10. Antarctic treaty forbids freedom of movement in Antarctic
11. Van Allen radiation belt makes space travel impossible
12. Water bubbles on ISS film footage
13. The Fake moon landing
14. The Sun & globe earth model contradictions
Just because you may not have a scientific education, don't be taken in by those anti-science/flat-Earth lies and deceptions.

WRONG - for a person standing on the Earth's surface that means...
a) when the Sun/Moon is directly overhead, your weight is You - Sun/Moon gravity
b) when the Sun/Moon is directly under your feet, your weight is You + Sun/Moon gravity
=> which leaves only the Earth's gravitational attraction on YOU
