As a scientist with college degree in Astronomy, minor in Physics and Mathematics, I was appalled to find folks telling outright falsities and presenting bad science to bolster suspicion of our known accepted reality - that the Earth is a beautiful blue globe.

This blog clearly shows scientific proofs that debunk everything that flat Earth proponents claim.  Here we also expose the comments those YouTube video channels delete, because they don't want you to see them.

The Earth is not flat.  That claim is a conspiracy theory perpetrated by ignorant people who have ulterior personal motives and agendas.

The Earth is a beautiful blue spheroid globe spinning on an axis 23.5° once each day, and orbiting the Sun every 365.25 days.

Dear Anthony Harburn,

Facts =
Yes, dropping a microphone displays the effect of gravity on physical objects.

There is a force of attraction between two physical objects. And it has been demonstrated that the strength of that force is proportional to the mass of those objects.

Photographs of "gravitational lensing" provides further support of Einstein theory of General Relativity.

The recent detection of "gravity waves" provides further support of Einstein theory of General Relativity.

Our solar system planets ALL formed as round balls, because gravity acted on its constituent particles during formation.

As some people would have you believe, acceleration (the speeding up of the flat Earth thru space) is the real cause of objects falling to the Earth's surface...

A free-falling object has an acceleration of 9.8 m/s/s, downward (on Earth), regardless of mass.

Any object accelerating at the rate of 9.81 meters per second would reach the speed of light in about 1-year.

Here is the math and the answer:
9.81X=300,000,000 m/sec
x=30581039 seconds.
x=8494.73 hours
x=353.9 days

Since the Earth is currently not traveling through space at the speed of light (which in not possible for any mass particle) - the explanation that gravity is acceleration IS WRONG.

Actually, flat Earth proponents claim that the Earth is stationary and does not move at all - so that also negates any flat Earth attempt to claim that gravity is really acceleration.

Gravitational tidal force acting on planets causes internal heating of those body.

The Moons gravity causes tides on the Earth.

Every airplane that flies in the sky utilizes shaped wings (via the Bernoulli's principle) to counter act the falling force of gravity, and remain in straight altitude flight.

With regard to the human body, compression of the spine is a result of gravitational force.

The force of gravity acting on water is always straight down toward the center of the Earth. So water will always appear to be LEVEL on the surface of the Earth, no matter where on the surface you are.

Since water is always LEVEL it will follow the contour of the Earth. Since the Earth is round, standing on the surface it will appear to be LEVEL for you, but from a high elevation it will follow the curvature of the round Earth.

At a height of 300,000 feet or higher (curvature of 9.7 degrees) you can see the ocean/water below you curving, just like the Earth.
