As a scientist with college degree in Astronomy, minor in Physics and Mathematics, I was appalled to find folks telling outright falsities and presenting bad science to bolster suspicion of our known accepted reality - that the Earth is a beautiful blue globe.

This blog clearly shows scientific proofs that debunk everything that flat Earth proponents claim.  Here we also expose the comments those YouTube video channels delete, because they don't want you to see them.

The Earth is not flat.  That claim is a conspiracy theory perpetrated by ignorant people who have ulterior personal motives and agendas.

The Earth is a beautiful blue spheroid globe spinning on an axis 23.5° once each day, and orbiting the Sun every 365.25 days.

Dear Readers,


Adam Joseph Doughty, a Christian biblical literalist from Canada. He's had a YouTube channel since 2011, and started posting about flat earth in September 2015. And now in Nov 2018, he has abandoned it.

In the following interview with Fight the Flat Earth, he describes how he went from the Bible into flat Earth, what it was like in the FE movement, the psychology and what drives people in that movement, and how he got out.

"I did music and stuff on it and then I was doing later on, years later just, kind of Bible studies and stuff, and I came across Tiger Dan 925. 

And then I kind of looked thru scriptures and then he talked it about more and then I thought, seems like it is, biblical to me…

Scripture was kind of the gateway for me…

I started making a doctrine out of flat Earth…

I got out with the help of others, and going cold turkey (all at once)


When I left flat Earth, it was like getting out a cult and I was shaking, I was literally shaking.  I went thru attention withdrawal because I liked the attention…

Interviewer said, “did you see flat Earth as something dangerous?  

Adam says, “I would think so because it’s like you get so wrapped up in it that you can’t see anything else.  The only way I can describe it it’s like a fantasy land …

You’re in this fantasy world and your moving up in the ranks and these people depend on you…

What I was experiencing I think it’s cognitive dissonance because in my mind I’m totally sold out, but In my heart I kept feeling like walk away, you don’t need to be a part of this…

Yes, flat Earth is a belief outside of logic…

Interviewers says, “one of the reasons flat Earther’s hold on so deeply is because they feel special, because they know something that other people don’t…"

Adam says, "people are not educated and why things are the way they are to begin with, so you walk into flat Earth and all these concepts that they teach you, and you’re not grounded in why they believe what they believe, so it’s easy to get drawn into that…"

"I hope that I help somebody thru my story.

I have no hard feelings against Patricia Steere or Antonio Subirats, Nathan Oakley even though your hangouts are terrible.  Your debates.  I said it in the interview I’m saying again, what are you trying to just wear people out from even looking at flat Earth, or anything?  There’re terrible.

Like a marble in a paint can, or a marble in your brain.  You look at flat Earth, you watch a flat Earth clues, you won’t believe it, but it shakes around in your head a bit, an eventually you’ll believe it.

Without calling anyone out, it looks to me like a PSYOP.  It’s called cognitive infiltration, to create cognitive dissonance. 

The problem with flat Earthers is that their judgment has been changed, their perception.  I think what really comes down to flat Earthers with is fear.  It starts with fear and it ends with fear, and it doesn’t give you peace whatsoever.  You might think that oh your eyes are open, you now see truth, but it’s that marble in a paint can that rattles around.

Infiltration.  Go into dictionary.com type in infiltration and look at the military definition of it.  About small groups and individuals that infiltrate and how it explains that.   And put those two words together – (cognitive and cognition) and infiltration together -  that’s flat Earth to me.  That’s what’s going on without pointing fingers, okay. 

A lot of people don’t know science.

They don’t know (people who watch flat Earth videos) and their believing this baloney and they’re looking at P900’s or P1000’s.  They’re looking at that same seeing the Mirage, or having someone else explain to them what they’re looking at instead of looking at the other side of things and what they’re actually observing.

They’re not looking at the data properly.  You’re looking at all these videos they’re horizon and then fear sets in and I’ve been lied to.  Because you’re ignorant, not because you’re a bad person … and then you start believing it and then you start thinking like your awake now, you've got this awakening..."

It’s important to point out that no POSITIVE PROOF has ever been presented as evidence that the Earth is flat. Only negative irrational and unscientific theories have been exhibited.

All attempts to prove the Earth is flat are based upon efforts to cast doubt on the validity of scientific data that clearly demonstrates that the Earth is a globe - rather than showing proof of flatness.

POSITIVE PROOF you need to provide for us:

A real photograph taken from an elevation of 500 miles or more above the surface of the Earth, that clearly shows the Earth is flat.

A real photograph taken of the flat Earth edge.

If no edge, then a real photograph of the infinite expanse.
If no infinite expanse, then a real photograph of the dome.
If no dome, then at least 1,000 photos of the 25,000 mile long impenetrable ice wall.
If no ice wall, then a real photograph of the lost civilizations that are there.
If no lost civilization ons, then what is your next guess?
