What is the name of the physical force applied to the Sun that causes it to tighten around the North Pole, and then extend outward again?
Nothing happens by magic. Some force needs to be applied for the Sun and Moon to change direction and altitude. What is it?

The following video by YouTube channel "crosswind" clearly shows that atmospheric airplane contrails - created the supposed "lunar wave."

As can be clearly seen from this crosswind video, the supposed "lunar Wave" is only an "atmospheric air disturbance" created by a jet plane passing between the observer and the Moon.

Analysis:
The first obvious question is, a wave or wake occurs only as energy moves through some substance. Water waves move thought water. Sound waves move through atmospheric air.
You cannot claim that the Sun is moving thru a substance, unless you definitive know for sure what that substance is.
Waves move through different substances at different speeds (frequency and wavelength).
You said, "maybe thru water, maybe thru air, maybe thru helium. We don't really know what is out there".
